13/100

Seamless.AI is a B2B contact data platform that finds emails, cell phones and direct dials, with a Chrome extension, CRM enrichment, buyer-intent and job-change data, and built-in outreach tools.

Verdict: Independent users are largely negative: the most common reports are inaccurate data (guessed email patterns, wrong phone numbers, bounce rates near 20%), annual contracts that are hard to exit, and aggressive sales follow-up. A minority, mostly in 2023 to 2026 comments, rate the data as good enough to replace ZoomInfo at a fraction of the price, so data quality is contested rather than settled. The corpus shows no promotional seeding, but much of it is older r/sales discussion from 2022 and 2023.

What users like

  • Some users rate the data as comparable to ZoomInfo at a far lower price; one cut their annual spend by about $16k after switching[1][2]
  • Users who stick with it find it worth the money for finding mobile numbers, and the free trial plus referral credits let reps test it first[1][2]

What users complain about

  • Data accuracy is the main complaint: emails guessed from naming conventions, wrong phone numbers, and one two-year customer reporting 18 to 23% bounce rates[1][2][3][4][5]
  • Annual contracts with no cancellation; buyers describe being unable to exit and continuing to receive bills[1][2][3]
  • Aggressive sales outreach and weak support once the deal is signed; one person says the company cold called them about 20 times after removal requests[1][2][3][4]
  • Teams that tested it against ZoomInfo went back to ZoomInfo, citing more accurate and thorough data[1][2]
  • Pricey for an individual rep; one user who likes it for mobile numbers balks at about $1,300 a year[1][2]

Best for

  • Budget-conscious reps who want a cheaper alternative to ZoomInfo and will verify data themselves

Skip it if

  • Teams that cannot absorb a hard-to-cancel annual contract
  • Buyers who need dependable email accuracy without separate verification
PricingVendor-stated

In their own words

I used ZoomInfo for a year. It was a waste of $18k. Using Seamless.ai now for $16k less and the info is at least as good if not better.
Seamless AI is great. Not intuitive at all but really quality. Secretly I think every data provider taps into Seamless AI. That’s just a theory. But they are a data provider not a sending tool.
Hmm got it. Thank you. Would you have a recommendation for just finding mobile numbers if I have already the email and business name? That’s my scenario right now. I like seamless ai for that but I don’t want to pay $1300 a year.
I’ve been using seamless.ai for a while. The free trial is pretty solid, and referrals get you 100 free searches. I believe the “unlimited” plan is like $3k. I believe it’s worth it, but I’m sure as hell not coming out of pocket for it.
Yes. Don’t waste your time with seamless.ai. We used seamless and it was garbage… mostly just guessed at email naming conventions, scraped some phone #s that were often wrong. They ask you, the user, to update their records when you found more accurate data elsewhere. Their customer service was also abysmal. We switched to zoominfo and the difference was massive. The data has been much more accurate and thorough, eve…
Seamless.Ai is pure shit. Terrible information that is almost always invalid or incorrect. My Company used zoominfo for the longest time but got rid of it because I was the only BDR at the time and nobody else used it. Now I’m an ae there and barely have time to do any prospecting, so they took it away which blows.
