Thin evidence

Findymail finds and verifies B2B email addresses and phone numbers, and sells a separate Datacare service that enriches and cleans CRM records.

Verdict: Independent discussion is thin: about five non-promotional comments carry an opinion, and they are brief. Those users treat Findymail as a cleaner, cheaper email source to stack with other finders or run inside Clay, while one cautions it draws on the same data as everyone else. Most of the praise in the corpus is promotional, including a cluster of near-identical 'lower bounces than Apollo, verifies on the fly' comments in two threads, so treat the enthusiasm with care.

What users like

  • Users who stack it with other finders and a bounce check say it returns cleaner emails than broad databases, for less money[1][2]
  • Runs as a native action inside Clay and is one of the smaller providers Clay itself draws on, which users rate as surprisingly good[1][2]

What users complain about

  • Not a shortcut: one agency user notes it relies on the same underlying data sources as other finders, so results still hinge on verification, warmup and list hygiene[1]

Best for

  • Teams stacking several email finders behind a bounce check
  • Clay users who want an email finder as a native action

Skip it if

  • Buyers wanting broad, independent proof of accuracy at scale
PricingVendor-statedFrom $99/mo

Starter is $99/mo for 5,000 finder credits plus 5,000 verifier credits; yearly billing is advertised as two months free, and higher volumes and Enterprise are custom. A free account gets 10 credits with no card. One email costs 1 credit and one phone 10; nothing is charged when no result is found. Datacare CRM enrichment starts at $500/mo billed annually.

In their own words

pretty solid list tbh. for verified emails, Apollo is decent if u need db + outreach, but for pure verification I’ve had better luck stacking Prospeo/Findymail with a bounce check. for product emails/newsletters, Postmark for app mail, Beehiiv or Loops for newsletter. dont mix both in one tool if u can avoid it.
they're both very expensive to be honest. You can get better data for cheaper with something like Findymail or Clay. The only thing FE is good for is EU phone numbers but it's basically illegal to cold call those in many countries so there's that
solid workflow. we landed on something pretty similar after burning through a few enrichment providers that just didnt have coverage for our ICP. the Apify scrape first approach is the right call. we use it to pull raw data and then pass everything through Clay for cleaning, deduplication and scoring before anything goes to a sequence. the scoring step is the part most people skip and its what kills reply rates,…
It's not a secret, it's openly displayed inside Clay And so no it doesn't really use use Zoominfo, Cognism etc. (they probably wouldn't accept to be there?) They're using smaller players that are surprisingly good like Findymail, hunter etc.
Findymail and Clay are solid, but they’re not magic either. They still rely on the same data sources and need good enrichment and verification. Tool choice matters less than setup, warmup, and list hygiene at that scale.
