54/100

lemlist is an outbound sales platform for running email, LinkedIn and calling sequences, with built-in warmup (lemwarm) and paid add-ons for data enrichment and buying-intent signals.

Verdict: Independent discussion is thin: only 16 non-promotional comments carry a real opinion, none of them purely negative. Those users like the personalization features, built-in warmup, clean interface, and email plus LinkedIn steps in one sequence for small teams, but call it pricey, lighter than full sales engagement platforms on reporting, thinner on LinkedIn than LinkedIn-first tools, and slow to learn. Over half the comments (52 of 100) were promotional, including a cluster of near-identical praise in r/coldemail in May 2026 repeating the same talking points (conditional branching, waterfall enrichment, lemwarm), so treat the volume of positive mentions with caution.

What users like

  • Personalized images and videos helped outreach results; one user got better link-building responses than with Mailshake[1][2]
  • Runs email and LinkedIn steps in the same sequence, so small teams avoid juggling separate tools[1][2]
  • Built-in warmup (lemwarm) keeps mail out of spam and promotions without a separate tool[1][2]
  • Clean interface that users single out[1][2][3]
  • LinkedIn automation ran for six months with one restriction, which the user blamed on a rep exceeding the tool's limits[1]

What users complain about

  • Expensive relative to alternatives[1][2]
  • Light on rep reporting and analytics compared with a full sales engagement platform like Outreach[1]
  • LinkedIn automation is thinner than LinkedIn-first tools, and one user says it lacks mass emailing and LinkedIn campaign creation[1][2]
  • Onboarding feels overwhelming and it is not plug and play; expect a learning curve before results[1]

Best for

  • Small teams running personalized, lower-volume outreach
  • Teams that want email and LinkedIn steps in a single sequence

Skip it if

  • Teams that need Outreach-level rep reporting and analytics
  • LinkedIn-first outreach at high volume
  • Buyers who want a plug-and-play tool with no learning curve

In their own words

Lemlist as for now. Was using Mailshake previously for link building outreach. But lemlist gives much better results with their personalized images.
I'd say lemlist since, in addition to everything you wrote above, it also has personalized images and videos
I’d def take a look at lemlist for your use case. I’m a lemlist user myself, and what I like about it is that you can actually combine LinkedIn + email + calls in the same sequence. So you’re not managing a LinkedIn tool + an email tool + a dialer separately. (even with n8n of webhook you'll end up having edge cases) The UX is also pretty clean imo, and the whole thing feels built around multichannel outreach rathe…

For your use case, I’d lean toward **Lemlist or Amplemarket**. HeyReach is great if LinkedIn is the main priority, especially with multiple sender accounts, but you’ll likely need additional tools for email and dialing. Lemlist feels like the better fit for a smaller team wanting LinkedIn + email + calls in one workflow, while Amplemarket makes more sense if you also care about data, signals, and deeper automation.

Lemlist is good for their feature called lemwarm which is basically sending emails between people in their network and making sure they are not marked as spam or that they dont end up in promotions tab. mailshake is practically just for sending emails, they go directly from your gmail/gsuite so i doubt that they increase deliverability by just using them
I use Lemlist myself, it's a bit pricey, but the built-in warmup and UI are good. Only caveat: it's more of a cold-outreach tool than a full sales engagement platform, so if you need Outreach-level rep reporting/analytics it might feel a bit light.
