Updated #3 in Scheduling & Lead Routingchilipiper.com
30/100

Chili Piper is a meeting scheduling and inbound lead routing platform that books and routes meetings from web forms and calendars into Salesforce and HubSpot.

Verdict

Independent users treat Chili Piper as the tool for complex inbound routing: weighted round robin, territories and routing straight to the account owner, with form-to-meeting booking in one step. The trade-off is cost and complexity, as users call it pricey or overpriced and overkill for flat teams or simple booking, and a few report no-show, spam-booking and traffic-source tracking problems. About a third of the Reddit mentions read as promotional, including a run of near-identical comments plugging Pulse for Reddit and small clusters pushing meetergo, LeadAngel, Default and Knock, so this rests on roughly 14 independent opinions.

What users like

  • Handles complex routing well: weighted round robin, territories and routing straight to the account owner[1][2][3][4][5]
  • Turns a form submission into a booked meeting in one motion, with qualification or scoring before the slot is shown[1][2]
  • Integrates easily with HubSpot forms and the wider stack[1][2]

What users complain about

  • Overkill and needlessly complex to configure for teams without complex routing needs[1][2]
  • Expensive: users call it pricey or still overpriced[1][2]
  • Does not fix no-shows: reps report more missed meetings, and reminders tend to turn no-shows into last-minute reschedules[1][2]
  • Embedded Chili Piper forms can lose the original traffic source data in HubSpot[1]
  • Spam form fills can still book meetings through it[1]

Best for

  • B2B sales teams with SDR-to-AE handoffs and complex inbound routing
  • Teams that route by territory, account owner or weighted round robin
  • Salesforce or HubSpot shops that want form fill to booked meeting in one step

Skip it if

  • Flat teams or solo sellers booking their own calls
  • Budget-constrained teams that only need a booking link

In their own words

I’m a fan of Chili Piper, especially if you’re wanting weighted round robins, have territories, or other complex routing rules. I get the same pushback anytime we implement it: reps say more meetings are missed and that takes a slot in their calendar they could have been meeting with someone else. I think having SDR’s follow up to confirm any meeting booked is how you improve the show rate.

chili piper handles this exact scenario, routes to account owner automatically

HubSpot's native meeting tool is fine for one rep booking one type of call. It breaks down once you need more complex reporting. ChiliPiper adds the most sophistication for routing and lead handoff speed, but it's built for teams with dedicated SDR-to-AE handoffs, so it's overkill if you're a flat team. Calendly is lighter and easier to roll out, but its reporting is thin if you need to tie booking behavior back t…

Depends on the size of the team & complexity of your calendar needs. Is it just purely for links or is it going to be routing inbounds (and if so, how complex is your territory structure?) In my experience I’d go Calendly for small teams and simple use cases, RevenueHero for medium, ChiliPiper or Qualified for large/complex/inbound-heavy

Calendly is the standard for a reason. It's dead simple, integrates with everything, and sends automatic reminders. Our clients use it because it just works and you don't have to think about it. The free version is fine if you're just starting out but the paid version lets you send more reminder emails and text messages, which actually helps with no shows. People are way more likely to remember when they get a text …

ChiliPiper had a cool booking tool that plugged into HubSpot forms. Submit form —> book demo/meeting/whatever all in one motion.
