Relevance AI review
Relevance AI is a platform for building teams of AI agents (an "AI Workforce") with custom tools, triggers and 2,000+ integrations, plus prebuilt multi-agent systems such as a BDR agent.
Verdict
Independent discussion is thin: about 15 opinions, several of them one-line recommendations, and most first-hand reports date from 2024 and 2025. Users who built with it say it is easy to pick up for no-code agents, but credits make it expensive, free-plan limits run out mid-build, and it has limits on heavier tasks. A third of the mentions are promotional, mostly replies that name Relevance AI while plugging another product such as SimplAI, Marblism or a competing agent builder.

What users like
- Easy to pick up for building agents without code; users call it one of the easiest builders and used it to prototype quickly[1][2][3][4]
- Capable enough for real data work: one user built a 40,000-record name-matching and vectorization system in four weeks with tutorials, after paid developers failed[1]
What users complain about
- Credits get expensive: every action costs credits, users ran out quickly or hit free-plan limits before finishing a build, and one team found it too expensive for what it needed[1][2][3]
- Limited for heavier work: response times slow on more intense tasks, it is a poor fit as a chatbot, and users note limits on what it can do[1][2]
- Abstracts too much for learning: an experienced builder advises beginners to avoid it because you end up not knowing why things work or break[1]
Best for
- Non-developers prototyping AI agents that call tools
- Teams willing to budget carefully for credit-based usage
Skip it if
- High-volume chatbots answering many queries
- Beginners who want to understand how their automations work underneath
- Tight budgets
Pricing
Sales-led pricing; the pricing page lists only a custom Enterprise plan (custom actions and vendor credits, unlimited agents, users and workforces) with no public prices or self-serve plans.

In their own words
Relevance ai is one of the easiest I know. Langflow Flowise Both are open source if I remember well. Lastly n8n, it is a bit more technical that the previous ones
Have you tried Relevance AI? I've tried it and found it not too bad, pretty seamless to pick up but they did have limitations on what they can do
I started with a similar chatbot idea and used tools like **Flowise** and **Relevance AI** to prototype fast, they let you design the chat flow visually and plug in your own logic or LLM prompts. For memory and user data, **Supabase** or **Firebase** handle auth + database easily. Once that works, you can wrap it in a **Next.js** frontend. I’d prototype each part separately before merging everything. Saw something si…
Claude, or if you want to build one yourself & customise it you should check Relevance AI, I build my first agent before ChatGPT released their paid function through it haha
For me, Relevance Ai works really well. I hired a few Ai experts and you can't imagine how hard they saw my requirements: 1. Find a name in a table of 40k records based on user input 2. Vectorize the table 3. Connect the best match with our database The offer what 80k USD from a US Dev So, I hired someone from Lebanon, for 10k USD No good results at all - all the work was in vain After 1 year, I found out Relev…
From my experience, no. Relevance AI is good for automating tasks but not as a chatbot. It’s actually very powerful but when you give it more intense tasks, it will start slowing down response times. Also the most annoying thing about relevance is the credits. EVERYTHING you do on relevance costs credits and they don’t come cheap. If you do end up making an ai chat bot, unless you have unlimited credits, you’ll run o…
