Creatify is an AI ad-creative platform that generates video and image ads, including UGC-style videos with AI avatars, from product links, scripts or existing ads, and also sells a done-for-you production service called Creatify Studio.

Verdict: Independent discussion is thin and heavily promotional: 34 of the 59 comments read as marketing (three copy-pasted posts praising the done-for-you service, a run of short "we use creatify for volume" replies repeating the same talking points, and plugs for rival tools), on top of 43 repeat-promoter comments already filtered out. Of the roughly 12 non-promotional comments with a real opinion, ten are negative and most sit in two complaint threads: users report credits running out before a single video finished, no refunds (one resorted to a chargeback), poor support, and generic output with weak lip sync. The only detailed favourable account is guarded: it works for adding variations, voiceover and captions to footage you already have, with manual editing, but not for turning a product URL into an ad.

What users like

  • Can spin existing creator videos into variations with added voiceover and captions; one user's results converted "not that bad" and none were rejected by Meta[1]
  • An advertiser running UGC ads at scale rated it "okay" for AI UGC: passable rather than a standout[1]

What users complain about

  • Credits run out fast: one user spent a $39 plan in 10 minutes without finishing a video, another lost 640 credits on one bad ad that dropped part of the script[1][2]
  • Several users say refunds were refused after a disappointing first try, one says charges continued after cancelling, and one had to charge back through their bank[1][2][3][4]
  • Customer support is described as unhelpful and reluctant, with users calling it the worst part of the experience[1][2][3]
  • Output quality disappoints: users describe generic, low-quality videos, embarrassing lip sync, poor cuts when combining several clips, and b-roll that didn't match their style[1][2][3][4]
  • The advertised URL-to-video flow didn't produce usable ads for one experienced user, who needed many manual edits to the AI-generated text[1]

Best for

  • Advertisers with existing creator footage who want quick AI variations with voiceover and captions
  • App or website brands pairing an AI avatar with a screen recording

Skip it if

  • Buyers who need a refund if the tool disappoints
  • Brands that need realistic avatars, lip sync or polished edits without manual cleanup
  • Anyone expecting a finished, converting ad from just a product URL

In their own words

Heres my review: I don’t think their tool is too bad, but they do advertise it in a way that doesn’t work. Putting in your url and getting a video made ain’t gonna do shit. This isn’t fb ads in 2016. I did use my own videos that content creators made for me (1 video only per project) and it did generate some variations, added a voiceover and captions. It didn’t convert that bad, but of course nothing revolutionary.…

Yes, we mostly run ugc ads in the past few years. Was outreaching them with multiple funnels and suggesting review for credits with our loyal customers. If you already have an UGC video and looking to generate variants in other languages, voice, etc, you can try opus clip. For AI UGC, Creatify is okay and there is also arcads, but Arcads don’t offer free trial unfortunately.

Have tried Creatify & CapCut and need some pointers. I signed up for Creatify at their weekly rate to test it out but it runs on credits and seems like my subscription used up 640 already on one bad ad that did not even include all the dialogue I fed it. Disappointed so far. I need a generator that will allow me daily to create 1-2 new ads of about 30 seconds each using the same spokesmodel I have created (I have a p…

Won't refund, had to charge back with my bank. Customer service was horrible through someone named "Princess" - very reluctant to work with you. Whoever uses this company, Creatify AI, will get burnttt. So much attitude through communication
